The four-star police general immediately issued a telegram (ST) directing the ranks of the National Police Traffic Directorate to take action. “When performing escort duties, ensure the rear blue rotator lights are turned off,” the third command in the telegram.
Karo Penmas, National Police Public Relations Department Brigadier General Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said the telegram was an order that must be implemented by all levels of the National Police.

Previously, in the 2023 COUNCIL on Wednesday (December 27, 2023), Sujiwo Tejo conveyed a number of criticisms of the police to the national police chief, including the call for stricter driving license tests as many drivers do not know the traffic rules, which poses the risk of road accidents.
The humanitarian and former journalist also criticized the use of all-round blue lights, which would blind drivers, especially on toll roads.
Despite his criticism, Sujiwo Tejo also supports the National Police in carrying out its duties and functions to provide a sense of security to all Indonesians by conducting patrols and traveling with a sense of security and comfort for others.
