It was reported that children’s vaccines were delivered to the Gaza Strip for the first time since Israeli attacks began on October 7.

In her written statement, Palestinian Health Minister Mey Keyle said that routine childhood vaccines were being shipped to Gaza through the Rafah border gate for the first time since the Israeli attacks began.

Keyle explained that there is a critical epidemic situation due to the Israeli attacks and that in addition to the vaccines donated by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), vaccines purchased by the Palestinian government have also been delivered to the region.

It was found that the vaccine supply, which includes polio, measles, rubella, mumps and other routine vaccines, is sufficient for a period of 8 to 14 months.

AFTER OCTOBER 7: ISRAEL’S OCCUPATION OF GAZA

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a full-scale attack on Israel on October 7, citing “continuing violations against Palestinians and sacred values, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque.” react”.

Israel said 1,200 Israelis died and 5,132 people were injured in the Oct. 7 attacks.

Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip killed 21,822 Palestinians, including at least 9,100 children and 6,500 women, and injured 56,451 people. While thousands of dead are reported to lie under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is being devastated by targeted attacks on hospitals and educational institutions where people are seeking refuge.

The Israeli army announced that 506 of its soldiers have been killed since it began its attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, including 172 during the land invasion.

81 Israeli and 240 Palestinian prisoners were mutually released during the “humanitarian pause” in the conflict, which was granted for four days on November 24 and later extended for another three days. On the other hand, Israel continued to detain and imprison thousands of Palestinians.

319 Palestinians died in attacks by Israeli forces and illegal Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah at the border that have continued since October 8 have left 28 Lebanese civilians, 134 Hezbollah members, 5 Israeli civilians and 9 Israeli soldiers dead.
