Today, September 1, Zendaya celebrates her 27th birthday and she does it in a spectacular way by starring in the Lancôme campaign at the Louvre Museum. Her metallic-toned makeup has caught everyone’s attention, but what makes Zendaya so special?

The actress and model has become a benchmark for the millennial generation, especially after his participation in the hit series Euphoria. Her unique style is reflected not only in her performance, but also in her choice of makeup at every public appearance.

On the occasions when Zendaya steps on the red carpet, she opts for “earth or brown” makeup tones that enhance her features and give her look a natural touch. However, in her day to day she prefers to wear little makeup, maintaining her authenticity and personality.

The collaboration between Lancôme and the Louvre Museum is truly special, as it is inspired by nine works of art present in the museum, as well as in its lights and colors. The campaign promotes Lancôme’s new makeup and skincare collection, called Lancôme x Louvre, and stars Zendaya, Aya Nakamura, Amanda Seyfried and He Cong, all brand ambassadors.

Each of them poses in front of iconic sculptures from ancient mythology, such as the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace, Corine and the Scorpion Nymph, sporting radiant skin and powerful makeup. Lancôme Makeup Global Creative Director Lisa Eldridge was inspired by these sculptures to create the collection.

Louvre Museum President-Director Laurence des Cars expressed her enthusiasm for this collaboration, which highlights the diversity of forms of beauty found in the museum’s collections.

Zendaya was chosen as a Lancôme ambassador in 2019 at the age of 23 due to his positive influence on his generation and his commitment to charitable causes, aligning himself with the philanthropy of the brand.

In the promotional video for the campaign, we can see Zendaya posing in front of the iconic architecture of the Louvre, wearing a total black look and long hair. But what really stands out in the video is her metallic makeup, which is “on point” and highlights her natural beauty.

In addition to promoting makeup, Zendaya also boasts her own perfume called Idôle de Lancôme, as the perfume represents contemporary femininity and the pioneering spirit of a strong and optimistic woman, characteristics that also describe Zendaya herself in her career.
