The Redmi Note 12 4G are already receiving the MIUI 14 Global ROM based on Android 13 with the firmware version V14.0.6.0.TMTMIXM.
Last March, Xiaomi launched on the market its new family of premium mid-range terminals within the Redmi brandlos Redmi Note 12 and, although most of the models in this series have already arrived with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, one of them, precisely the only one that did not have 5G, received MIUI 14 con Android 12.
Well, now the Chinese giant has just fixed this discrepancy, since it has just launched the update to MIUI 14 with Android 13 in all Redmi Note 12 4G on the market.
The Redmi Note 12 4G receives Android 13 globally
As they advance us from the Xiaomi4Mi medium, the Chinese giant has begun to deploy MIUI 14 Global ROM based on Android 13 on Redmi Note 12 4G around the world.
This new software update is reaching the aforementioned terminals with firmware version V14.0.6.0.TMTMIXM and includes all the news of MIUI 14 and Android 13, among which we must highlight the demise of advertising and bloatware, the advent of smart folders and Super Iconsthe return of the mythical App Vault and the integration of text recognition in photos in the native Gallery app.
If you have a Redmi Note 12 4G and want to check if this update has already arrived, you just have to access the section About of the phone which is within settings of it and enter the section MIUI version.
In the event that it is not yet available, you have two options: either wait calmly for it to arrive via OTA or you update your terminal manually by downloading the update package something you can do by following these simple steps:
- Enter the section MIUI version
- Tap on the icon of the three vertical points that is located at the top
- Click on the option Select update package
- Finally select the file you just downloaded
