Windows 11 market share still below 25 percent

According to figures from Adduplex, Windows 11 had a market share of 23.1 percent at the end of June. The magical 25 percent mark has still not been cracked. After all: In the past two months, 3.5 percent of all PCs have been upgraded to Windows 11. At the end of April, the growth compared to the previous month was just 0.4 percent, as “MSpoweruser” reported at the time. However: According to Adduplex, about the same number of PCs have been updated to the latest version of Windows 10 in the last two months as to Windows 11.

The most used Windows version at the end of June was Windows 10 21H2 with a market share of 38.2 percent, ahead of Windows 10 21H1 with 23.9 percent. Windows 10 2004 comes to 5.2 percent, Windows 10 20H2 to 3.8 percent. The shares of older Windows 10 versions are meanwhile below 2 percent. Adduplex does not publish figures for older Windows versions. (mw)
