The former head of the Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Football Association, Ayman Al-Rifai, spoke about what is being raised about the recommendations of the Professional Committee of the Football Association in his country to stop Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club from being registered due to a crisis with Al-Nasr Club after the union contracted the Moroccan striker Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah.
Ittihad Jeddah had announced last Sunday evening the contract with Tariq Hamed from Zamalek during the current summer transfers.
At the beginning of his speech, Al-Rifai explained that there is no official announcement regarding the registration of the Al-Ittihad club for the player Tariq Hamed in the TMS system of the International Football Association (FIFA), which is an abbreviation for the “International Football Association Player Transfer Matching System”, saying: “The Federation bought the player’s contract. It does not necessarily mean his registration, and his training with the team or his playing in friendly and not official matches also does not mean that he has been registered.
And the former head of the Saudi Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee continued: “Al-Ittihad has not yet announced that it has obtained a certificate of financial competence that allows it to enroll players in its list. Tariq Hamed’s decision became a player in his ranks, but if a decision was issued to stop the union from being registered and Tariq Hamid was not registered, then the player will not be on his list and here he can sell the player’s contract or loan him to another club until his crisis is resolved.”
Clubs in the Kingdom must pay their financial obligations within specific dates set by the Football Association in their country in order to obtain a certificate of financial competence and then the possibility of registration.
Al-Rifai responded regarding what was raised that the decision, if issued, would be applied from the next recording period, not the current one, because the summer transfer window had been opened by saying: “The decision is applied from a date and not in the next winter transfers, for example, Al Hilal Club issued a decision against him to prevent him from being registered and is currently making attempts against this decision. If a decision is issued in his favour, will he be prevented from registering? .. Of course not, as the decision is implemented from the date of its entry into force.”
The former head of the Saudi Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee concluded his statements with two expectations. If the decision to be issued regarding the Jeddah Union club is to be suspended, it will be issued within a few days; To resolve the matter, but if it is not issued within a week, the decision issued against Al Ittihad Jeddah Club will not be strong.
