Why the documentary “Of Vaccines and Men” should be taken with a grain of salt

One word keeps coming back: “vaccinosceptic”. This is how several scientists contacted by Le Parisien describe the film “Vaccines and men”, which was broadcast this Tuesday evening on Arte and is already available online. We’re a long way from the conspiratorial documentary “Hold-Up,” released two years ago, and the questions raised are legitimate. But many excerpts suggest, without saying so clearly, that vaccination against such and such a disease may be harmful, despite the scientific consensus to the contrary. “It is sometimes limited because of the treacherous narrative in the sequence of interviews and statements”, believes the pharmacist Steve Claude in particular.
