Charlotte Valandrey, who plays judge Laurence Moiret in Tomorrow belongs to us, has announced her upcoming departure from the TF1 series. She explained her reasons on social media.

[Mis à jour le 27 juillet 2020 à 14h32] It is a page in the history of Tomorrow belongs to us that is turning. Present since the beginnings of the TF1 soap opera, Charlotte Valandrey officially leaves the series. It is the interpreter of judge Laurence Moiret who herself announced the news to her fans on social networks: “DNA, it’s over for me,” she wrote on her Instagram account. In a video, also shared on the social network, the actress gave more details on this departure: “The stories around my character were not renewed enough, I was absent a little too often … So with the production we decided by mutual agreement that I was going to stop DNA. ”

Charlotte Valendrey said that we would not “see her again in Tomorrow belongs to us”. We do not know for the moment what will be the consequences of this departure for the rest of the plot, and especially on the character’s family (his children Lucas and Arthur, but also his ex Sandrine). For several episodes, Judge Laurence Moiret had been convicted and imprisoned for murder, justifying her gradual disappearance from the intrigues. In any case, the actress intends to bounce back and “leave for new adventures where we will see each other again through the screen but in a new way”, before quickly evoking musical projects. “Anyway I had a great time,” she concludes in this video, thanking her fans for their support.
