Video games are the world’s largest form of entertainment in the 21st century and unlike decades ago, today the gaming community celebrates its passion and this includes figures from different media. It is known that some professional athletes take advantage of their free time playing video games, although there are those who prefer discretion regarding what they play, such as one of the stars of world soccer.

If you are not familiar with soccer, let us tell you that the era of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has come to an end and today the spotlight is on a new generation of soccer players. One of them is Erling Haaland, a 22-year-old Norwegian from Manchester City, who has become a goal-scoring beast and is emerging as a footballer who will ultimately make history. Well, in recent days this star of the field gave the gaming community something to talk about because during an interview he declared that he was embarrassed to say what his favorite game was at the moment.

After the match between Manchester City and West Ham United in the English Premier League, Haaland was interviewed before going to the locker room because in that game he set a record of 35 goals. Asked how he would celebrate, the Norwegian forward said: “I don’t think about it, I’ll just go home, play video games, eat and sleep, that’s all I’ll do.”
Haaland was later asked what his favorite video game was at the moment and the answer was: “I can’t say, it’s very embarrassing.”
The speculations did not wait and there are those who assure that the Norwegian feels sorry for playing FIFA 23 in Career Mode with himself, although others think that it may be a very casual video game. In the end, the important thing is that gaming continues to break it all over the world.
