The next ski star is under the hood. Thomas Dressen announces his wedding with his long-term partner Birgit on Instagram. “Life is better with your best friend, that’s why I married mine,” writes the 27-year-old downhill star.
He’s not the only one in the ski circus who has found happiness. One love message is currently chasing the next. In the week before Dressen, teammate Stefan Luitz said yes to his Sarah. In addition, the couple is already looking forward to having offspring. Their child should be born in September.
The wedding bells have rung for Marc Gisin too. After he had to end his career as a result of the bad fall in Val Gardena in 2018, the Engelberger has found his personal happiness. At the beginning of May, the 32-year-old married his long-time girlfriend. “Oh yes, we are officially off the market,” wrote Gisin on Instagram. And adds humorously: “Not that there was a lot of demand. At least in my case. “
But not just getting married. A few other ski stars have also fallen in love. Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Kilde into each other. Wendy Holdener made her relationship with Remy Allemann public.
And ex-ski star Lindsey Vonn has butterflies in her stomach again. After falling in love with PK Subban, the American was spotted turtling with actor Diego Osorio. And Carlo Janka is planning to marry his fiancé Jenny in the Engadine in August. The couple had to postpone the planned celebration last year due to Corona.
There is currently a lot to celebrate in the ski circus on the junior front as well: The Haver-Loseth, Hansdotter, Mancuso and Miller families have all grown in the last two years. (sme)
