JThursday evening, two powerful explosions were heard in the Russian city of Belgorod, near the Ukrainian border. However, the circumstances and the material or human damage are not yet known. Earlier in the day, Ukraine claimed it had “the right” to strike Russian military targets, hinting that its military might carry out strikes on Russian territory.
“Russia is attacking Ukraine and killing civilians. Ukraine will defend itself by all means, including strikes on Russian assassins’ warehouses and bases. The world recognizes this right,” wrote Mykhaïlo Podoliak on his Twitter account.
