Walid Suleiman, Al-Ahly’s playmaker, expressed his distress at the departure of Ramadan Sobhi to the ranks of Pyramids last season.
Walid Suleiman said in televised statements yesterday, Sunday, “May God honor him and grant him success, God willing. I was upset when he went to Pyramids. It is not Ramadan who does this because he has abnormal jealousy with the national team.”
He continued, “I don’t know the reason for his decision, but he may have betrayed the thinking or the decision at this time that he is going to Pyramids, he knows his responsibilities.”
Walid added, “I was upset that Ramadan Sobhi walked, for the secretariat of the Al-Ahly club did everything for Ramadan’s sake, and the club was preparing that he would leave Ramadan in another place, purely.”
He continued, “Al-Ahly was on his way to degrade Ramadan Sobhi, a legend for the club in the future, like Hossam Ghaly. He will not reach him with Pyramids, they are not Al-Ahly, with my respect to them.”
And the Al-Ahly player added, “The return of Ramadan belongs to the administration and the fans of Al-Ahly club. I hoped that this mistake would be corrected. I hoped it would continue because it would remain a great need in the club.”
Al-Hawi Walid Suleiman concluded his statements, “Ramadan if he returns his balance, he will be saved. The one who prefers in Al-Ahly his balance will grow, and the people will remove him, but if he returns now, he will not have a balance with the public at all.”
