WAC brings ÖFB top talent from Juventus

Of the RZ Pellets WAC gives the obligation of Ervin Omic known. The 19-year-old defensive midfielder started his training at the SV Ried academy, switched to the Red Bull Salzburg academy in 2017 and moved to the youth academy at the age of 16 Juventus Turin. There, Omic quickly developed into a leading player and has led his team as captain since the U17s.

The midfielder made 25 appearances in Primavera 1 last season and made seven appearances in the UEFA Youth League en route to the semi-finals. Omic is currently with the Austrian U19 national team, with which he is preparing as captain for the upcoming U19 European Championship – he has signed a three-year contract in Lavanttal.

Trainer Robin Dutt: “I am very happy that we have gained a top talent for our team in Ervin. With him, Adis Jasic and Nikolas Veratschnig we have three team players who represent the WAC at the U19 European Championship.”
