Viewsonic presents gaming monitors in a new format

Viewsonic has introduced another gaming monitor from the Elite series. With its size of 25 inches, the XG251G lies between its predecessor models in 24 and 27 inches. It has an IPS panel with 360 Hertz refresh rate and supports VESA HDR 400, Nvidia Refelx and G-Sync. The screen, which the manufacturer claims is aimed at professional gamers, should also convince with a response time of one millisecond.

At a glance, the new 25-inch monitor is equipped with the following properties and features:

  • IPS panel: 16.7 million colors (99 percent sRGB color space), FHD resolution (1920 x 1080)

  • Gtg response time of 1 millisecond

  • Reduced system latency thanks to Nvidia Reflex

  • Connections: Two HDMI ports (2.0), a display port (1.4) and USB hub version 3.2

  • Two integrated 2 watt stereo speakers

  • Ergonomics: tilt angle from -5 to +20 degrees. The display can be rotated by 60 degrees and rotated around its own axis into portrait format.

  • “Low Blue Light” certification

Price and availability

On request, the manufacturer announces that the model will be launched on the Swiss market in January. The RRP is 899 francs.
