VfB has stopped selling day tickets for the home game against 1. FSV Mainz 05 (Friday, 8:30 p.m.). Up to this point in time, more than 25,000 tickets had been sold, but all ticket buyers can come to the stadium.
The entry of Baden-Württemberg into the so-called alert level 2 of the Corona state ordinance brings with it not only an upper capacity limit but also new rules for visiting the stadium. The 2G + regulation applies with immediate effect. Spectators must be vaccinated or recovered and also have a negative corona test.
Use test centers
The test evidence can be provided in digital or printed form. Please bring such a test with you – VfB cannot guarantee sufficient test capacities around the arena. You can find currently open test stations in Stuttgart on the website of the city of Stuttgart.
A rapid antigen test must not be older than 24 hours, a PCR test not older than 48 hours. Self-tests are not accepted. The 2G + regulations now also apply to adult schoolchildren. Schoolchildren between the ages of 12 and 17 will continue to have access with their student ID card. Children who have not yet started school are exempt from the obligation to provide evidence.
Fixed access times for certain blocks
All ticket buyers will be informed of the exact regulations by email. Time slots are assigned for access to heavily used blocks. Please adhere to these time slots in order to make access as smooth as possible for everyone.
In addition to the 2G + concept, other rules and measures to protect against infection apply in the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Among other things, the mask requirement applies throughout, even at your own place. In the Cannstatter curve it is not allowed to switch back and forth between the upper and lower tier. All fans in the standing area are requested to spread out over the entire area and to keep the stairways clear. You can find the complete overview of the rules here.
Supports us in complying with these rules for a safe stadium experience. And support us against Mainz 05. We need you all!
