Varese – He was worried as he hadn’t heard from his brother for a few days so the Egyptian went to the offices of the Varese Police Headquarters to report his disappearance. And here he discovered the reason for the ‘disappearance’: his brother, arrested, was in prison, having to expiate a sentence of 2 years and 10 months for theft. Not only that: he was also informed of the fact that the arrested man in an attempt to avoid handcuffs had exhibited his identity card, posing as his older brother who had no problems with the law. The attempt failed and the prison doors opened for the Egyptian. The other day the man was recognized by the officers as the author of a theft in a city commercial exercise and stopped for a check he showed his brother’s identity card. The agents suspecting that the document was not his, accompanied him to the police station for investigations from which numerous precedents emerged, and not only that: he also had to expire a sentence of 2 years and 10 months for theft. Once the ritual formalities were completed, he was accompanied to the Miogni prison in Varese.
