A teenager has been accused of murdering a stabbed man during a knife awareness course in London.
Hakim Sillah, 18, was assaulted Thursday in the Juvenile Delinquency Department at the Hillingdon Civic Center in Uxbridge.
The Metropolitan Police said that a group had gathered at the scene when a fight broke out. Mr. Sillah was taken to the hospital but died an hour later.
A 17-year-old boy will appear in front of Uxbridge magistrates on Saturday.
A teenager who was wounded with a knife in the ear was commended by detectives for "bravely" trying to break the fight.
In a statement, Mr. Sillah's family described him as "an adorable boy who cared about his family".
"He liked to take care of his little brother, who was sick," they said.
Inspector Det Ch Noel McHugh said: "A young man who has his whole life in front of him has been mortally attacked and his family is completely devastated."
