UN Security Council and G7 countries condemn executions in Myanmar – USA

New York / Naypyidaw – The UN Security Council and the foreign ministers of the G7 countries have condemned the execution of four prisoners in Myanmar. “The members of the Security Council condemned the execution of opposition activists by the military in Myanmar over the weekend,” the highest UN body said on Wednesday. The Security Council also called on the military junta to release de facto Prime Minister Aung San Suu Kyi.
