Two employees of the Walt Disney World park complex in Orlando, Florida (USA) were arrested this Friday as part of a covert operation in which A total of 17 men were arrested for crimes of child sexual exploitation.
These people, who owned and shared child pornography, "take advantage of the most innocent and vulnerable among us: our children," Grady Judd, a Sheriff in Polk County, in central Florida, said Friday.
The now former workers of the theme park complex are Brett Kinney and Donald Durr, who face 24 and 8 charges for possession of child pornography, respectively, detailed Judd.
Kinney, 40, worked in the Walt Disney World entertainment department for the past 15 years and recently held a leadership position.

According to the report, Kinney, who had already been arrested twice and had been released, told detectives that he had an addiction to child pornography and had been treating her for more than twenty years.
Durr, 52, who worked for 20 years in the maintenance department of Walt Disney World Resorts, described himself as "a pervert, but not a monster."
"The Internet has made it much easier for sexual predators to take advantage of children because they can now access virtual gaming sites, social networks and pretend to be people who are not," said Sheriff Judd.
The Sheriff's Office noted that some of the men had contacted children or requested explicit sexual photos. Judd said the investigators who work on these cases go through mandatory counseling after seeing "things that no one should have to see, and no child should have to experience."
The sheriff also reported the arrest of 14 other former convicts for sexual offenses that failed to register as such, as mandated by Florida law.
