## Executive Summary
Six million Afghans face forced repatriation under the Taliban as neighboring deportations intensify.

## Intelligence Brief
The sudden influx stems from heightened deportation actions by Pakistan and Iran, a trend noted by The Sunday Guardian alongside CGTN’s reflection on five years of Taliban governance. CGTN’s episode on the Taliban’s five‑year tenure describes a massive returnee wave, while 8AM Media documented daily arrivals of nearly 2,000 individuals and over 300 migrant families, underscoring the scale of movement.

These figures illustrate how regional policies are translating into immediate population shifts on the ground. Uncertainty remains about the long‑term integration of returnees and the policy response from Afghanistan’s authorities.
