## Executive Summary
The open-world RPG DragonSword: Awakening is expanding beyond Steam as developers confirm upcoming console releases.

## Intelligence Brief
A PlayStation 5 version of DragonSword: Awakening is officially in development following the title’s debut on Steam. Beyond the move to Sony's console, creators have confirmed that Nintendo versions are also underway. This expansion follows an initial launch period marked by the release of limited-time free DLC, which players can add to their accounts permanently.

Coverage from outlets including Gematsu and Inven Global notes that the game has surpassed 200,000 units sold during its first week. The title has secured an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam, with ScreenRant comparing the open-world mechanics to titles like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Crimson Desert. While the game holds a strong position on the Steam charts, VGChartz reports it currently sits behind Palworld.

Specific release dates for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo versions have not been provided. While the game has received positive critical and commercial reception, information regarding future content updates beyond the current DLC offering is sparse.
