## Executive Summary
Conor McGregor’s 2027 ‘Last Dance’ plea revives his rivalry with Max Holloway amid injury woes and floor‑safety claims.

## Intelligence Brief
2027 is the year Conor McGregor has publicly requested a third UFC bout with Max Holloway, labeling the showdown his ‘Last Dance’ rematch. The request appears across several prominent outlets. ESPN reported McGregor’s 2027 ‘Last Dance’ demand, while Al Jazeera and The Guardian both recorded his insistence on a new showdown.

Yahoo Sports detailed his teasing of a specific date and venue, noting that the fighter remains in knee‑recovery mode. Bloody Elbow added that McGregor has blamed recent ‘no‑contest’ outcomes on dry ice placed on the Octagon floor, a claim he made while urging promoters to schedule the bout. Nevertheless, the timing remains uncertain because McGregor is still rehabilitating a knee injury, and his dry‑ice allegation raises safety questions that promoters may need to address before confirming a location.

Coverage notes that no official date or venue has been set, and that any 2027 matchup depends on medical clearance and resolution of the Octagon‑floor dispute.
