## Executive Summary
Elon Musk clashes with the media and criticizes the UK's stability, claiming a widespread public hatred for journalists.

## Intelligence Brief
A surprising tension has emerged between Elon Musk and the press, characterized by Musk claiming that more people "hate you and the media than you realize." According to Fox News and the New York Post, Musk responded to a reporter by stating that while some may loathe him, a quarter billion people follow him, while far more loathe the media. Subsequent reporting expanded on Musk's targeting of specific figures and nations. News18 reports that Musk labeled The Economist Editor Zanny Minton Beddoes a "traitor to the West." Meanwhile, Middle East Eye and The Times note that Musk reiterated claims that the UK is on the verge of a "reckoning" due to Muslim immigration.

There is a notable contradiction regarding Musk's connection to the UK. While he warns of a national reckoning and potential civil war—a topic explored by The Spectator—The Times points out that Musk himself has not visited the country for years. Musk's current position remains defiant.

When questioned by The Hill regarding support for the "far right," he stated that he backs "normal people."
