## Executive Summary
Scientists have identified a rare class of 'oddball' meteorite responsible for the mass extinction of dinosaurs 66 million years ago.

## Intelligence Brief
Researchers have uncovered new details regarding the composition of the asteroid that caused the dinosaur mass extinction. The space rock, associated with the Chicxulub impact, has been identified as a rare class of 'oddball' meteorite.

Coverage from The University of British Columbia, The Times of India, and Phys.org emphasizes that the discovery was made possible through the analysis of nickel fingerprints. The Yucatan Times and Sci.News report that the meteorite's composition was more unusual than previously expected.

Future attention will be on how these findings clarify the complexities of the extinction event, as suggested by New Scientist.
