Croatian defender Dejan Lovren (31) is leaving Liverpool, where he played since the summer of 2014. He has signed a three-year contract with Zenit Saint Petersburg.

The amount of the transfer would be 10.9 million pounds, or about 12.9 million Swiss francs. Arriving from Southampton after playing for Dinamo Zagreb and then Lyon, Lovren made 185 appearances for Liverpool and scored eight goals. For two seasons, often injured, he no longer had a starting status.

He nevertheless participated in the great successes achieved by the Reds under the leadership of Jürgen Klopp, in particular the Champions League 2019 and the title of champion of England this year.
