Industriegruppe remains on course for growth in the third quarter.
The industrial group Montana Tech Components (MTC) of the Austrian entrepreneur and investor Michael Tojner significantly increased sales and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) in the third quarter of this year. The group’s sales revenue increased by 6.1 percent to 1.365 billion euros, while the Ebitda rose by 23.6 percent to 232.7 million euros, as the company announced on Wednesday.
The battery manufacturer Varta, the packaging manufacturer Aluflexpack and the system component manufacturer and aircraft supplier Montana Aerospace contributed to the total sales of the group. The main reasons for the good quarterly result are the higher sales of Varta household batteries and energy storage systems, a consistently positive business development of Aluflexpack, a continuous expansion of the market shares of Montana Aerospace, the recovery of the aviation sector from the Covid-19 crisis and a significant increase in sales in the E- Mobility.
“We are fully on target with the results of the group of companies – our strategy of countercyclical investing has paid off,” said majority owner and CEO Tojner in a press release. Montana Tech has not only mastered the Covid 19 crisis well so far, but the management has also succeeded in “setting the course for the future of the industrial group”.
