Togo’s ambassador to Kuwait celebrates the country’s 63rd independence anniversary

Togo celebrated, on April 27, the 63e anniversary of its accession to international sovereignty. To mark this event, Togo’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ouro-Sama Mohamed Saad, organized, on May 4, 2023, a ceremony in the premises of the Embassy, ​​in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Ambassador Badr Salah Abdullah Al Tanaib, Director of the Africa Department, several members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Kuwaitas well as a strong Togolese community living in this country.

Togo’s ambassador to Kuwait, Ouro-Sama Mohamed Saad, celebrated the 63rd anniversary of Togo’s independence on May 4 at the embassy.

In his speech for the occasion, the Togolese diplomat praised the good diplomatic and cooperation relations that exist between Togo and Kuwait. He underlined the importance of the progress made in recent years under the governance of the President of the Republic, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé. The diplomat noted that the celebration of Togo’s independence is a symbol of the strong ties and cooperation between Kuwait and Togo, and an opportunity to further strengthen these relations.

An opportunity for the Togolese diplomat to present the enormous economic potential available to Togo in various fields of activity and to encourage Kuwaiti economic operators to invest in his country.

Ouro-Sama Mohamed Saad also thanked the Kuwaiti government for its permanent support and accompaniment to Togo, its people and especially its community living and working in Kuwait, estimated at more than 500 people.

For his part, the guest of honor, Ambassador Badr Salah Abdullah Al Tanaib, congratulated Togo for the celebration of its national day. He commended the strong bilateral relations between Togo and Kuwait, as well as the progress made in various areas of cooperation. He also expressed his wishes for success and prosperity for Togo.
