Timo Werner had his first training session at Chelsea

Chelsea forward Timo Werner, who transferred from RB Leipzig, held his first training session at a London club. Previously, the player visited Chelsea’s home stadium and supported the Blues in the 2-0 match with Wolverhampton.

In June, Chelsea announced on their official website Werner’s transfer from RB Leipzig. It was reported that the amount of Werner’s transfer to Chelsea will be € 53 million, prescribed in the player’s contract as compensation.

Werner has been with RB Leipzig since 2016, and previously defended the colors of Stuttgart. This season, the striker has taken part in 32 matches of the German Bundesliga, in which he chalked up 26 goals (3 – from the penalty spot) and 8 assists.
