Thomas Pesquet live from space | Agenda

Thursday, June 17, the OVSQ opens its doors to students who wish to attend the exchange with Thomas Pesquet live!

The event organized by the University of Paris-Saclay will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the University of Paris-Saclay and will be broadcast in the amphitheater of the Observatory of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (OVSQ).

In particular, 40 students from the Lycée Saint François d’Assise in Guyancourt will follow the broadcast on the big screen at the OVSQ and will be offered a program specially composed for the occasion:

12:20 p.m .: Sharing the Flux with Paris-Saclay via the Spirit Sorcerer Youtube channel: Michel Tognini, interview with Claudie Haigneré, Thierry Marx, Raphaël Haumont.

– 13:40: Live broadcast of the contact with Thomas Pesquet and questions / answers.

– 13:50: Presentation of the Solspec instrument (installed on the ISS and stopped by Thomas Pesquet during his previous stay on the ISS)

– 2:20 p.m .: 3 visits to the OVSQ

1- the Rue de la Recherche

2- The OVSQ antenna on the roof (which can allow interaction with the ISS)

3- UVSQ-SAT: history and presentation of the UVSQ nano-satellite currently in orbit

– 4:00 p.m. end of the visit
