The Grand Théâtre de Genève unveils its new program, with nine operas and six concerts on the bill
Lyric »After having lived through the first two incomplete seasons at the Grand Théâtre de Genève (GTG), its director Aviel Cahn starts from the idea that in September, the rooms could be full. “We hope that the restrictions will fall thanks to the vaccine and that the orchestra can return to the pit,” he told reporters last week.
Each piece of the season will offer a variation of the theme “Make love …”, reinforced by the pandemic. The three small dots signify openness, the domain of the imagination, the exit from a duality, explained Clara Pons, playwright.
