Five minors who have been kidnapped by an organized crime group this Saturday, October 9, making contact through a WhatsApp group in the game “Free Fire”, they were rescued by elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) in the municipality of Santa Lucía del Camino, Oaxaca.

Boys between the ages of 11 and 14 They allegedly entered a WhatsApp group that they found through the game “Free Fire” through which, allegedly, they had been offered to work for the Northeast Gulf Cartel due to his taste for guns and the idea of ​​making a lot of easy money.

One of the children even left a letter to his family where he explained that he would go to work in Monterrey, Nuevo León, but he would send them a lot of money as a result of his work, before which, her parents began posting search chips on social media.

When other parents of the young people went to report the disappearance of their children to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Oaxaca, they realized that more children were in the same situation and that they had been contacted in the same way, through WhatsApp that they had found in “Free Fire”, all were originally from Tlacolula de Matamoros and the State Attorney’s Office published two Amber Alerts for this case.

WhatsApp invitation in “Free Fire” to hijack them

The modus operandi that the criminals would have used to kidnap the minors consisted of the invitation that a child made to the other five to play through the WhatsApp group they found playing “Free Fire” and when they were together at the agreed place, they took away their cell phones and put them in a vehicle.

The children who had disappeared from their homes were rescued due to the geolocation that the security forces made of their cell phones where, thanks to one of the mobile phones, the minors were located first in an ADO terminal and then in Cerro del Fortín, to finally finish in a house where children were held against their will.

In the two-story white house located on Avenida Ferrocarril almost at the corner of Calle 12 de Octubre in Santa Lucía del Camino, Oaxaca, a woman would have opened the door indicating that there was a children’s party, but upon entering the authorities found the minors who had been kidnapped with a hook while playing “Free Fire” and the woman was arrested.

“It reports that the adolescents Dan Levi Aguilar Ramos and Jesús Alejandro Avendaño Trujillo have already been located. We appreciate the support and collaboration of citizens ”.

In a statement, the State Prosecutor’s Office indicated that the group of kidnapped minors was reintegrated with their families that same October 9 in a coordinated effort between the authorities and the children’s families.
