TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ, Chis. (apro) .- A medical director of a health center in Tapachula was murdered this morning, after a couple of men on motorcycles approached the doctor and fired several shots at close range.
The attack on the 46-year-old professional was recorded on 11 Avenida Sur, between 18 and 20 Calle Oriente, in the 16 de Septiembre neighborhood of Tapachula.
The victim was attacked by the subjects and was left lying on the ground, with injuries to different parts of his body caused by a .9mm caliber firearm.
The police forces arrived at the site and found, together with the doctor, his wife, Vanesa, 35 years old, who was the one who gave the name of the victim, Hiram Fuentes Aguilar, 46 years old, and said that he was the director of a Tapachula health center, located at 8va Norte and 19 Calle Poniente.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) through the Costa Border District Prosecutor’s Office said in an official letter that it initiated the investigation folder for the crime of qualified homicide to the detriment of who was identified with the name of Hiram “N”, a fact happened this Wednesday morning.
He explained that the body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service to carry out the legal necropsy and determine the cause of death.
Section 50 of the National Union of Workers of the Ministry of Health (SNTSSA) condemned this crime and demanded justice for the doctor attached to this union.
In addition, he asked the federal government, the state government and the municipal governments to stop the wave of violence that Chiapas is experiencing in various regions.
