As Poliakov himself commented to the TV Brics channel this Wednesday, despite the severe weather conditions due to the intense cold, it was necessary to capture in the lens an unusual phenomenon that occurs only once every 50,000 years.
The astronomer confessed that he took the photo in a remote region, 65 kilometers from the city of Novosibirsk, and with a temperature of minus 36 degrees Celsius.
Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF was discovered last year, and it can be observed in the northern hemisphere, on clear nights, until mid-February.
