You are between 18 and 27 years old and want to make a gap year around the world? Gap Year Portugal has two grants to give: one of five thousand euros, for individual candidates, and another of 6,500, for pairs.
The eighth edition of the Lobo Scholarship, promoted by Gap Year Portugal and financed by Fundação Lapa do Lobo, wants to give young people with Portuguese nationality and who have completed a cycle of education (secondary or higher) this school year the opportunity to “break the routine , get out of their comfort zone and embark on new enriching experiences”, reads a statement.
O gap year can last from six to ten months, and candidates must send a CV, proof of date of birth and qualifications and a “detailed and concise” plan for the gap year.
The plan must include the intended objectives and motivation, itineraries and routes, travel and accommodation solutions, among other information contained in the regulation.
Applications must be made here by the 3rd of July.
