Xbox is having issues that are preventing some gamers from launching cloud games, playing digital games, and making purchases from their store. According to the Xbox status page, the outage began around 4:00 p.m. ET and the company is currently working on a fix.
“We’re aware that some users are unable to purchase and launch games or launch cloud gaming sessions,” Xbox Support said in a tweet. “Our teams are investigating. Please keep an eye out for updates here and on our status page. http://xbox.com/status.”

This latest set of problems follows a massive outage that lasted several hours Friday night and Saturday morning. Some gamers were unable to start cloud gaming sessions, launch digital games, make purchases, or even access streaming apps like Netflix and Disney Plus.
Although the Xbox seemed to solve these problems, it seems that problems with his business, digital titles and cloud gaming have resurfaced. Like my colleague Notes by Tom WarrenIf you’re affected by the outage, you should still be able to play games offline if you have your Xbox game like your “home” console. Xbox support also said Restarting your Xbox console may help.
Update, May 7, 5:45 PM ET: Update to add that restarting your Xbox console may fix some issues.
