WhatsApp is one of the essential applications in the smartphone of any Spanish. Although it is something we already knew before, this idea was reinforced during the quarantine, at which time the inhabitants of Spain spent 76% more time on the messaging platform.
Due precisely to that relevance, almost any news or small trick of WhatsApp is of interest to a large number of users. So recently we explained to you the way to know who gossips your states, as well as who spies on WhatsApp.
In this case, we teach you how to make the mobile read the messages out loud received through the app, which is quite comfortable if we are driving or with our hands full.
The mobile dictates WhatsApp
As we say, there are situations in which reading a WhatsApp can pose a real danger, such as being behind the wheel. At other times, it is simply difficult to do other tasks.
However, there are totally free applications dedicated exclusively to facilitating it, such as ByVoice, capable of read aloud the WhatsApp that we receive. We explain how to use it on Android phones:
- Go to Google Play and download the ByVoice app (it has a symbol similar to the comecocos).
- Once installed, open it and grant it all the permits to ask you so that it can work properly.
- Then, in the “Select applications” section, choose WhatsApp.
If you have followed the steps correctly, every time they send you a WhatsApp this app will read it to you out loud using your speaker smartphone. Similarly, you can configure the app to read messages to you even if you are using a Bluetooth headset or other devices.
Like is logic, we can not only use it to read WhatsApps, but for any notification that reaches our mobile. We have recommended ByVoice because it is the one that we found easier to configure, although there are also similar applications such as Speaki or Spoken Notifications that will do practically the same.
As many of you may know, iPhones tend to be much more restrictive when it comes to granting permissions to applications, which is why we have not found any app that does the same as the previous ones.
However, iPhones will be able to do exactly the same using their famous virtual assistant, Siri. Once we have granted all the permissions so that Siri works perfectly with WhatsApp, it would be enough to say “Hey Siri, read me the notifications“.
If we have a WhatsApp, it will dictate what the contact in question has told us. We hope that this little trick of WhatsApp is useful for you. You can also review this article in which we explain how to transcribe voice memos in a simple way.
