The Warriors sink in Memphis

Golden State sank in Memphis. Faced with an opponent yet deprived of his star Ja Morant, the Warriors lost 134-95 after being led by … 55 points (119-64) in the 36th minute.

Despite this humiliation, Stephen Curry and his teammates keep their hand in this series. They lead 3-2 and will have a second match point to play on Friday, this time in San Francisco where they remain on a seven-game winning streak.

One stat highlights why Golden State’s loss is historic. Never in the play-off had a team trailed by 52 points (119-67) at the end of the third quarter.

In the East, Milwaukee regained home field advantage. The Bucks won 110-107 in Boston to lead 3-2 in this Conference semifinal. Led by 14 points (93-79) 11 minutes from the end of the match, the defending champion signed a good comeback which of course bears the hallmark of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek scored 40 points to keep his team afloat.
