Something old, something new, something blue and something orange? According to Pinterest, the wedding season is going to be colorful this year. Burnt Orange, a rusty orange, is the shade of the hour.

Do you want to get married someday?

Almost 700 percent up

Sure: A wedding is as individual as the bride and groom themselves. But according to the new trend report from Pinterest, those who want to marry want warm colors for their big day instead of a dream in white. Demand for “burnt orange” weddings has skyrocketed 695 percent over the past two years, according to the platform. Rusty tones such as copper and terracotta are also set to make a big splash for the wedding party this year.

But that does not necessarily mean that the wedding dress is now orange. Rather, it is a warm color concept that runs through the wedding party. Warm colors for the wedding are already being staged on Instagram. These shades are particularly suitable for a wedding in nature. Of course, it’s perfect when the setting sun paints the whole thing in warm tones again. According to Pinterest, centerpieces in these colors are in high demand. In the last two years, the demand for table arrangements in orange has increased by 150 percent.

Want to make your white dress stand out even more? Burnt orange can also be wonderfully integrated into the textile concept, for example for bridesmaids. On Pinterest, searches for terracotta wedding dresses skyrocket by up to 230 percent.

The warm color world can also be combined well with pink accents and ensures a harmonious overall picture. Demand for orange wedding guest outfits also increased by more than 285 percent on Pinterest.

You imagined your wedding as a dream in white? Burnt orange can also be wonderfully integrated into the bridal bouquet as a splash of color.

Also a trend in Switzerland

Not only at weddings around the world, but also in Germany, accessories, decorations and dresses shine in warm tones. Singer Tiziana Gulino and her fiancee Dania exchange vows in a white dress, while the bridesmaids wear dresses in warm shades.

Bridal expert Julia Wetzlmayer, Store Manager at True Society in Zug, confirms that the colors burnt orange and ocher are becoming increasingly popular: “These earthy and natural tones go particularly well with outdoor weddings. They create a natural look and provide a boho feeling.»

Influencer Anaïs Almeida Maradan has already implemented this trend with looks from True Society at her wedding in Portugal. The bridesmaids also wore combinations in the trend color to match the color palette of the wedding.
