The Jalisco Health Secretariat reports 251,150 cases of covid-19 in the state as well as 12,353 people died after contracting the disease.
On the second day of the day to immunize adults from Guadalajara and Zapopan against covid-19, 26,128 vaccines were applied: 18,580 to the elderly in the Zapopano municipality; and 7,548 to people from 50 years to 59 years and pregnant women from both municipalities.
Both in Guadalajara and Zapopan the vaccination day progressed without major setbacks, attached to the Jalisco Model, for which the biological can only be applied to those who meet the requirements of the call and carry the federal registry and the QR code of their appointment with a specific date and time.
In this way, progress is made with more order and agility, a process that allows the massive application of vaccines in a short time. This Tuesday, in the Benito Juárez Auditorium, the 12,000 doses applied (12,220) were once again exceeded in older adults from Zapopan who completed their vaccination schedule. While in the Plaza Bicentenario 2 thousand 310 doses were applied and in the Drive Thru of the University Center for Economic and Administrative Sciences (CUCEA) of the University of Guadalajara 4 thousand 050 doses were supplied.
At the same time, at the University Center for Exact Sciences and Engineering (CUCEI) 7,548 vaccines were applied to the group of 50-59 years and pregnant women of legal age, both residents of Guadalajara and Zapopan.
Tomorrow the four macromodules will continue to operate: CUCEI (pedestrian), Benito Juárez Auditorium (pedestrian), Plaza Bicentenario (pedestrian) and CUCEA (Drive Thru). It is very important that the date and time of the appointment be respected so as not to hinder the flow in the vaccination process, for which the population is urged to come on the day that corresponds to them and with the QR code that indicates the time, the which is obtained when registering on the platform vaccination.jalisco.gob.mx
Also tomorrow the vaccination will continue in 53 municipalities of five health regions of Jalisco that today started the day for the population aged 40 to 49 years (progress in these municipalities will be announced this Wednesday).
