Jordi Rebellón, Barcelona actor known for making many television series, died this Wednesday after suffering a stroke (a cerebrovascular disease). The news surprised the art world since just five days ago he had gone to the theater with friends.
Known for his role as “Rodolfo Vilches” in the series “Hospital Central”. He performed that character for 12 years, from 2000 to 2012. In between, from 2007 to 2009, he had a short break from the television show.
The Spaniard won the hearts of viewers for his numerous roles on the small screen and mainly for the longest novel he ever made, the finale of which garnered 2,276,000 viewers. Some time ago he took a break from fiction and became a singer in the fourth edition of “Your face sounds to me.”
Despite their breaks, short films that he performed were especially related to hospitals, doctors and patients. For instance, “Love is forever” O “Family doctor”.
His death came shortly before the premiere of the film “The idol”, comedy in which he starred alongside Yolanda Ramos, the Spanish actress, partner and friend of Rebellón.
