The season restarts at People's University

35 years of commitment to popular education”, titles the program for the 2023-2024 season. The open day, registration and meetings with the speakers, will take place on Friday September 8 at the activity center, 22, rue de la Gare, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and in the annex at 1, bis avenue Général-Vincent, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., for physical expression activities and cultural hikes. The book club will operate again this year with a monthly session.

As every year, the UP offers social actions, primary school support, middle school and high school and Clas actions that take place outside of teaching time and are distinct from those that the National Education implements for students in difficulty; youth, language and refresher activities, and for adults: public writer, digital inclusion, actions aimed at French learners. Cultural activities and thematic conferences are also offered. Among the novelties this year: history of architecture in the West or Bergson, another metaphysics. Many artistic workshops operate from September to June, including the brand new straw marquetry, Monday conferences, cultural outings.

A wide range of well-being, nature, personal development and couple dance workshops are offered. All its actions are to be discovered online, up-uzege.com or on September 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the association forum at the arenas. Registration for UP activities has been possible online since August 15 and at the reception of the activity center since August 31.

The popular university has a board of directors of ten people, chaired by Alain Bozonnat and a commission for community life. Émilie Marin and Mathilde Audin manage the administration. The organization is completed by a team of contributors and volunteers.
