As with McLaren and its special MSO department, the firm of the Cavallino Rampante does the same with its division. Special Projects, dedicated to the manufacture of unique and exclusive products that have served to cover the space of the richest and most opulent garages in the world. The best example we have with the Ferrari SP30that is, a unique unit on the planet that is looking for a new owner.
A unique specimen in the world
A while ago we brought you a series of images of the best that has come out of this division, some copies of the most striking such as the Ferrari SP1, F12 TRS, Speciale MM or the most recent SP38. However, in this very exclusive list, we did not find a specimen that can boast of being the source of inspiration of a whole Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a unique model in the world that is also looking for a new owner.
Its about Ferrari SP30, one of the most unknown creations of the Maranello special division. We are talking about a copy that was ordered in the year 2012 by an Indian businessman based in the United Arab Emirates, Cheerag Arya, the same person who boasts of having a large collection of Rampant Cavallinos. Despite its resemblance to the F12 mentioned above, the car is based on its predecessor, that is, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
With hardly any filming
The person in charge of putting this singular copy up for sale has been a dealer in Texas, United States, called Crave Luxury Auto. It is the same company that announced the car in 2018 and that now does the same almost two years later. During this time the Prancing Horse has tried to find a new owner and the best proof of this was the event held in France by RM Sotheby´s last year, but it has not finally succeeded. The details about its history are unknown and we can only affirm that it has hardly rolled in all this time, since its odometer registers just 103 miles, that is, 165 kilometers!
The person in charge of propelling this machine is a propeller 6.0-liter atmospheric V12 and next to it, a sequential gearbox called “F1-Superfast” appears. He price It has not been published in the announcement either, although given the rarity and state it is in, it is not unreasonable for this Cavallino to exceed seven figures.
