According to TASS, cars for the athletes were parked on the Ivanovskaya Square of the Kremlin. The Olympians received 77 cars – the gold medalists were awarded the keys to the BMW X5, and the silver and bronze medalists were awarded the keys to the X3.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the refereeing at the Olympic tournament in rhythmic gymnastics. According to the head of state, the actions of the arbitrators did not meet the requirements of the Olympic movement.
During the individual all-around competition at the Tokyo Olympics, a referee scandal occurred. The gold medal was won by Israeli athlete Lina Ashram, who bypassed the Russians Dina and Arina Averin, who took second and fourth places, respectively. At the same time, the representative of Israel dropped the object during the last speech. Russian sports officials and fans considered the tournament refereeing biased.
