The Lakelive has found its place. The third edition of the Biel festival, which mixes music, sport and culture on the shores of the lake, recorded higher attendance than the first two years. 85,000 people were counted during the nine days of festivities, which ended on Saturday. For Lukas Hohl, co-organizer of the event, this is proof that the public adheres to the concept but above all that Lakelive now has its place in the calendars.
One of the highlights of this edition was the July 31 drone show which, as a reminder, attracted no less than 10,000 spectators. An action that also offered a special spotlight to the festival. Lukas Hohl says: “When we decided to launch this idea, we didn’t know what to expect. But a week before the show, it was amazing to see reactions in the media from all over the country”.
The organizers are already announcing that the event will return in 2023 “with the same concept”, specifies Lukas Hohl. /amo
