The Israeli army carries out operations inside a hospital in Gaza

The Israeli army announced at dawn on Wednesday that its units were carrying out a “precise and targeted” military operation against the Hamas movement “in a specific area” inside the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip.

The army said in a statement that its units “are carrying out a precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specific area in Al-Shifa Hospital, based on intelligence information and operational necessities.”
