The first Russian documentary on Netflix will be a film about the St. Petersburg prison “Kresty”. RIA Novosti reports.
The film, which will be available for viewing from January 2021, tells about one of the oldest Russian prisons. Many famous cultural figures such as the artist Kazimir Malevich and the poet Joseph Brodsky served their sentences there. Marshal of the Soviet Union Konstantin Rokossovsky was also in the “Crosses”.
Earlier in the Netflix documentary “Rising Phoenix”, British Prince Harry made his debut. The film tells the story of the Paralympic Games, how they became the third largest sporting event in the world and the international athletes who took part in them.
