“The economy at the service of social welfare”

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Juan Luna, took the floor and indicated that “there is one of the Peronist truths that says the following: ‘justicialism conceives of justice in the following measures, capital at the service of the economy, and the economy at the service of social welfare. “Those who are not Justicialists should excuse me, but public companies are a factual representation of a Justicialist vision of our economy,” he pointed out.

“Our province does not have thousands of opportunities due to the country’s model, around a vision that has the Atlantic ports as its exit door, and that has always been left out of the country’s growth chain, along with other NOA provinces. .”, he claimed.

“The State must come to give entity, to give a presence where the private sector is not present and La Rioja generated those two centers of production in these two latitudes: Chilecito and Chepes, at the service of the economy, generating direct and indirect employment by production core, along with the general movement of the economy,” the provincial official assured. “The objective -he said- is that La Rioja in general has social welfare that is associated with economic growth”.

Meanwhile, the undersecretary of Public-Private Investments, Gerardo Sánchez Volpini, said that “there are 36 state companies with different and very broad headings, with a totally federal vision since they are not centralized in Capital.”

“From 2019 to 2021 there was growth that was not only nominal, but that generated growth by 2022 above inflation. Without a political vision like the governor’s, it would cost a lot since they know that to earn more you have to invest more,” he stressed.

He stressed that “the government dedicated itself purely and exclusively to financing, assisting companies and achieving optimal results in the short term.” “The other point to note is the jobs they generate, since each of the workers who work in state-owned companies are employees of the private sector, that is, they are governed by collective agreements with wages based on at the current scales, with a sustained growth of jobs of almost 30 percent, since 2019,” he explained.

In this regard, he maintained that “the aim is to improve the quality of life of Rioja men and women”, through intersectoral work by the different state institutions.
