Governor Süleyman Elban and Police Chief Doğan İnci also participated in the inspections carried out by the police and gendarmerie teams at the application point on Atatürk Street. Governor Elban, who chatted with the drivers of the stopped vehicles, also gave toys to the children. Drivers and passengers not wearing seat belts have been warned.

The female driver of a vehicle that the police wanted to stop, tried to escape by throwing the small child, who was traveling without a seat belt, in the lap of the passenger in the next seat. While the police teams warned the driver to stop, Police Chief Doğan İnci approached the vehicle and stopped it. Indicating that they carried out inspections to explain the importance of seat belts, İnci chatted with the people in the vehicle and reminded them of the traffic rules. İnci also gave a toy to the little boy.

Expressing that they are trying to raise awareness so that drivers are more careful in traffic and do not neglect to wear seat belts, Governor Elban said, “We hope that there will be no accidents, no one’s nose will bleed, no loss of life will occur on Eid days. We want it to be minimized and the loss of life to be zero,” he said.
