The creators of Duke Nukem promise to please Gamescom with a “long-awaited sequel”

The famous studio 3D Realms, which gave players the cult shooters Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D and many other projects, announced its trip to Cologne. Developers will officially take part this year at Gamescom 2022, which will be held from August 24 to 28. Among already known games, 3D Realms promises to announce a “long-awaited sequel”.

The company will bring sci-fi co-op horror shooter Ripout and bloody retro shooter CULTIC to the show. Also, 3D Realms is going to show some new content on the shooter WRATH: Aeon of Ruin and action RPG Graven.

The main announcement of 3D Realms at the event will be a mysterious sequel. What exactly the developers mean by the phrase “long-awaited” is not entirely clear. At the beginning of this year, the studio announced that it was working on a large-scale project of the level of Prey and Max Payne, where 3D Realms partially helped in the development.
