The Bernardo Valdivieso Millennium Educational Unit celebrates 296 years of institutional life. The events began on Friday, May 12, 2023, with a gallant serenade, and continue until next Thursday the 25th.
The schedule for Friday, May 19, began at 8:00 a.m., with the first marathon; 10:00 am, unveiling of a commemorative plaque; and, 5:00 p.m., proclamation of patron saint festivities.
For Monday, May 22, there will be open house; intercollegiate oratory contest, in which 12 educational institutions of the city will participate: Juan Montalvo, Adolfo Valarezo, Mater Dei, The Immaculate, Beatrice Cave of Ayora, The Painful, Antonio Rock Celi, Tnte. Crnl. Lauro Guerrero, St. Gerardo, Daniel Alvarez Burneo, February 27 and Manuel Cabrera Lozano.
While, on Tuesday, May 23, sports and bike rides; Wednesday 24, at 8:00 a.m., placement of a wreath in the central square; and, on Thursday 25, at 4:00 p.m., in the Hall of the Province, the solemn session for the 296 years forming dozens of generations of the city and province of Loja. (YO)
